I was greeted by this banner after I checked my Yahoo Mail. I found it to be very interesting and decided to share it with you guys. You think this banner converts? Please rate above.

The two young guys don't look convincing enough. I think it would
have been more effective if the ad showed a younger sister and
brother pair with unkempt hair and hand-me-down, slightly
soiled clothes and sad expressions. Sort of like street urchins.

I am sorry for the vote but its not even a banner. There are some basic criteria for banner which is not fulfilled in this image. its a good image to me. nothing else.

LOL, you should create a youtube video showing how to produce the effect in photoshop, then find a cpa offer from blamads and push their offer!

Yeah I read something once, that children and babies are one of the most popular ways to draw attention, then I think puppies come next.

LOL, yeah but how much do you think they spend on this banner, and all the A/B/C split testing they did? Maybe their pushing this offer on trafficvance and Lead Impact and they are bidding on insurance keywords, like therockz mentioned about insurance companies, what do you think?

Or maybe they are getting creative and creating some sort of short video with a blamads content locker right when the suspense comes out of the grave

Selling life insurance is about shaming you into providing for your family even when you are dead.... So happy images of young kids playing should make you think "have you thought about your childrens future ?"

This banner does make you think about death but more in a "Im depressed now I fancy a cheeseburger" so does prompt something but not the urge to pull out the wallet for insurance

This banner is probably for a large corporate company. They probably hired a team of psychologist and marketing experts to construct this banner and spent 1000's of dollars to get the final draft!

Someone should take this banner and push some PPV traffic to an insurance offer and see how many conversions are made
