Youtube!!!! Really??

Ok so today I went to youtube.. wanted to listen to some quality music and when I wanted to comment....

a pop up appeard: DO you want to comment using your REAL NAME instead of username and I see my picture and my full name and they say that want to update the whole account.

I said hell no!

You know what that means?

Everybody will know your name, (they check your profile and know where you living)

SO now internet comment BEEF can get real! xD

but anyway, ain't that a little bit to far for exposuring peoples private data? It will be like a little bit of facebook on youtube cuz you know whos who.. but still say something negative and they can find your ass and sue. (in USA or UK - I think)

What your thoughts guys?

yep, that is what they are doing to try and cut back on all of the crazy crap people comment on videos. They know people will be more civilized if they use there real info. It could be worse, though. At least they aren't getting rid of commenting all together.

looks like google is going all in on social profiles. I accidently clicked ok, and it was a PITA to change it back. I'm somewhat new to YouTube. I don't like how videos I watch show up in my "Channel" without being able to delete them. I also accidently clicked that fucking G+ button next to a search results for scrapebox footprints -- so now that's on my G profile w/ my real gmail account.

That's official now, Google is evil!! It's no more a reliable place to be. We really need alternatives cuz it'll be worse than that. Google started sending letters to my house, too. I think they want to create a database of the whole world, this is very dangerous.

It's time to stop it!!

Maybe people should start posting the names, addresses, phone numbers and photos of Google employees.

Well it already connected to you gmail account so they are trying to put peoples faces on comments now which way to much. Google turns over already to much data to the government, now add real names to comments and that is just to damn much

The main thrill of online activities is the fact we all believe no one knows.... It gives us so much satisfaction within! Besides, who uses his/her real name on youtube? I don't think that's a good idea!

Lol, im glad I use fake info for almost all my online transactions/profiles/information. I don't actually think I have a 'REAL' presence online, no paper trail just how I like it.
