Using Wikis For Backlinking Your Backlinks....Anyone Do This?

Just a question out there. Backlinking your backlinks is always a good idea. Some do it via more web 2.0, profiles, blog comments etc. But does anyone use wikis?

Im trying this but if I want to give backlinks to say 300 urls that are my tier 1 I find that the software I use (a free one from here) would make it almost impossible to do this task due to the syntax code -- [h$$//domain.tld|h$$//domain2.tld {keyword 1|keyword2}] doing 300 urls in this format is to much.

Any ideas on how to make it easier?

Its late here so I am not sure if I am understanding your question.

I use all types of backlinks to boost my tier 1, hope this helps.

You can quickly transform list of tier1 URLS to such kind of spintax using Notepad++.

As for efficiency of this, my answer would be: yes, use it as tier2. Just don't over-do it. All kinds of tiered backlinks can be harmful if you over-use them (don't make 30000000 wikis pointing to 10 web2.0s)

You can also do some tier3 links and then submit tier3 to crawling service (like Lindexed), for faster crawling.

mediawiki is nofollow but by god do the spiders love'em. i found them prety useful in getting links indexed.

I am not talking about notepad, I am talking about notepad++. Simply use find and replace function, check extended mode and replace "\r\n" with "|" (without quotes).

Vouch this, I pump out 100k+ wiki links a week and I've seen Mediawiki sites get indexed within 3 hours.

@op: I use a spreadsheet to do what you're saying (in the exact same format, too).
