I want to take this time to say thank you to the Blackhatworld Community. BHW is one of the reasons why these Fatherless kids are going to school in a private school named Shalom Academy of Davao (if you're wondering, it's a non-profit Christian school that only charges $25 a month INCLUDING books for each student... the usual monthly fee in private schools here is $50 - $80 EXCLUDING books).

I formerly said that I was sponsoring 15 students but I was wrong because they just informed me the number is 13 since the 2 were actually ineligible since the mothers lied about not having husbands. Anyway, there 11 kids there.. the 2 are kindergarten 1 so their classes are in the afternoon so they aren't there when we took that picture.

If you want to know more about the background of this sponsorship... READ THIS.

BHW, you have made these kids happy because you are giving them an opportunity to learn quality education. You see, in public schools here in the Philippines, each classroom has 65 - 80 students. Imagine, 1 teacher is to 65 - 80 students with only 40 - 50 chairs and each student has to share a book with another. I haven't even mentioned that the weather is at 32 degree Celsius with only 2 ceiling fans for 65 - 80 people to share in a room.

Anyway, I want to specifically thank these people for buying the Google Panda Tamer before (because a lot of the profits from those packages go to the scholarships):

Thank you. It has been a joy to me as much as it is for their families.

It's really good seeing someone give back some of the help that they've received. Giving to someone, especially something of this nature, is one of the best feelings ever.

Good job! I'm sure your success will only grow and compound. :D

Thank you for your words. True, there is a sense of fulfillment in giving especially if you see their smiles personally! :)

You are awesome mate! really.
BTW: it's a Jewish school not christian ?

It's a Christian school.

Shalom is actually used also in Christianity. Its modern definition is peace. However, Hebrews pronounce it as a greeting. It accurately means "May God give you everything that He intends you to give". In a nutshell, it's a blessing that is accompanied by a greeting. :)

This is the kind of Christian work I can get behind... you must feel good veheme.

Yeah, but there's also a Star of David on the building?

galing!! more blessings to you. hope you help more people.

Yeah, but there's also a Star of David on the building?

Yes there is.

In Jewish doctrine, that symbol signifies that God rules the earth (since the symbol is pointing to all directions).

The Star of David actually signifies the Messiah who is about to come (the 2nd time since he already came 2,000 years ago). The Jewish people who don't believe Jesus as the Messiah believe that the Savior has not come yet. However, for us Christians, we believe that the Messiah did come and his name is Jesus.

The Star of David can be traced back to God's oath to David in Psalm 89:4 that He will establish David's line forever and make David's throne firm through all generations. You may ask "how can this be since David is mortal?" That can be answered with Jesus. Ever wonder why there is a genealogy found in Matthew 1 and Luke 3? If you look at it very carefully, it proves that Jesus do come from the line of David which makes David's throne stand firm forever since Jesus is the King FOREVER (Daniel 2:44-45, Daniel 4:34-35, Isaiah 9:6-7, Daniel 7:13-14, Luke 1:30-33)

Haha sorry for that long post. I do have to warn you that this is my passion lol :)

i couldn`t care less about whatever school it is - as long as it helps to grow and educate kids that are in a bad position.

Isn't it odd though that the school took symbols almost universally recognized as Jewish, but isn't Jewish? I know Christians can technically use Jewish imagery since they both share the Old Testament.

I'm sure there's a reason.

Or maybe Jews just tricked Christians into running their school :p

Yes there's actually a reason. If you study the history of the New Testament, the starting Christians WERE Jews. The usage of these symbols were started by Messianic Jews. Since this symbol that says of a coming Messiah was already fulfilled, it now became a reminder of the Messiah who rules forever. In this case, no trickery occurred :)
