iPage - $1 hosting for a year

So that is why my site is so damn slow! I've been racking my brain trying to speed up a site I have hosted on Ipage. Now I know it's just the host. I originally signed up with them because I'm comfortable with Vdeck. Can anyone recommend a Vdeck host that is fast? (If this is a thread jack, I can make a new thread). Also, are all those "sister companies" or whatever they are equally/pretty similarly slow? I also use Ipower and it seems a little faster.

ya, i already have 1 account at ipage, for my review it take around 5-10sec to loading my site..very slow...if i know i would buy hosgator than ipage =;=

Yes they support wordpress. I have an account with them but I didn't tried any site with it because of bad reviews and their "unlimited is only 25GB"

It is not true unlimited. At least in iPage. But they are sister companies after all

Ipage is good but their customer service sucks. they keep calling you with survey and offers.
