Where Does My $97 Donation Go To ??!

It's funny Op, cause the more you read on this forum, the more you realize that although many ppl think Black Hat = Crooks with zero morals and compassion for others, that it simply isn't the case.

I have seen incredible acts of compassion and generiosity... I have seen such kind words that make you happy just to see them... I have seen emptahy and support for their fellow members.

I have seen many things that make me PROUD to be a member of this Forum and Community.

and yes, I have seen scammers, who I am very happy to see them get perma-banned because they only soil the name and repution of BHW.

The $97 helps support this - the many methods that people share - the servers, bandwidth and staff are not cheap. For me, it's very well worth it.

But that's just my opinion...

BHW gets a wooping traffic of over 1m per month and it costs a huge amount of money to get a stable server to handle such a traffic so all the donation goes towards hosting. But you should be least bothered about that, the power of blue is ultimate

A website of this size certainly is kind of expensive and takes a lot of time to run.

You pretty much need some full time staff when dealing with a forum of this size, add in servers and what not and I think its expensive, but still profitable.

I don't doubt for a moment who ever owns this place kills it, but after building something that attracts hundreds of thousands of people why shouldn't he?

He is blackhat at heart. Just like us, why can't he make a bit of money.

I paid $120 for VIP (I'm european) - I'd say I got good value for it too.

i will soon be investing in a jr.vip membership, i have been searching here and there and someone anti-blackhat told me to stay away from this site in total because they distribute stolen software. what i mean is that they give away cracked programs in the vip forums and such. i totally love this community, the positive sides, i believe blackhat means bending the law not breaking it . Because of this im worried about where my $97 goes to. i dont want to be supporting this act directly. i dont want my money to used in such a manner. so can someone please help me out and tell me where my money will be used. Will my money be used to help this act or for other stuff. or am i simply mistaken about the whole thing, does bhw support stolen or is it simply unethical users who post it up.

I thought staff are the ones that review services which are being sold. This is kind of a payment in lieu of actual cash, if I am correct. Plus I'm sure that when services are reviewed by staff, the service providers make sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed.

Lol, that doesn't happen.

I also don't know of any staff who view review copies as much of a perk. There are so many crappy services that apply each day, most are just a complete waste of time. Most of us just have throwaway sites and just make sure the work promised has actually been done. You won't find any moderators here who put their success down to the free reviews they get of products/services, lol.

It goes to the owner of the site of course. Some of this would then go to expenses, but the majority does, and should, go to the person who created such a valuable forum. Forum's are normally not very profitable, so taking the risk and time investment is huge, and so the rewards are good as well.

That's not really a decision we make, it's down to DD.

It doesn't make too much difference when people pay and they have to be donors now which helps.
