Is it worth it? I was thinking of buying a domain that has to do with the product, to put on my youtube videos to seem more legit than the clickbank aff link that is given. can i just redirect the URL to the clickbank hoplink?

Yes you can. I do this with my dating sites, get a domain similar to the site, and see way better conversions

get one that is relevant to the niche or product name eg. howtoloseweightquick.tk

it seems like .tk doesn't let you redirect to affiliate link. it says invalid url. do you know how to get around it?

yes ,you can use redirecting.but that is not the best practice for genuine UV websites.

Yes it's $9 bucks for a year so definitely a good investment. With CB you should set up a presell page from YT though. Most good CB products have a review page or plr articles you can copy/paste since you're not worrying about seo. Make a few sales and buy another domain if you want to rewrite articles or original for organic traffic. YT -> review page is adding another hurdle for them to jump through but more effective. Good way to test niches/products and in future you may want to set up squeeze page to collect emails, market that product and more.
