Hey guys,

Here's another topic that interests you folks. With the new G-beast (Penguin) on the prowl, some of the more traditional methods to build quality backlinks are getting some attention. One such method is using guest posts. Read on to find out more......

=================================================================

For building good quality links, using guest posting makes for a high-quality technique. However, while using this method it is important to correctly judge the relevance and quality of the site using many metrics and to build only those links that promote your marketing strategy and objectives.

Since SERP?s are the buzz-word today, agencies and businesses have realized the need to budget in techniques like guest posting apart from other link-building techniques commonly used. Although guest posting is a high-quality technique, its execution is crucial in determining the types of links obtained. High-quality guest posting is important to keep up with the quick link-building updates that Google launches to prevent being left out of this posting buzz. For this, content marketers must remain alert when putting guest posts online. Here?s some information from an unofficial guest posting quality rater handbook.

Quality Rater Handbook for Guest Posting

While evaluating guest post opportunities, spam-links might pose a problem as will the un-building of web-links. Care needs to be taken while building site-links and correct judgment of site relevance and quality is important.

Site Relevance and Quality

Ensure the publisher?s integrity to avoid compromising the link?s profile. A publisher can be said to be of a good quality if he/she has an established website, is an authoritative source and has a real organization with clear objectives that is operated by a thoughtful leader. A good quality site should be active on media sites and have an editorial or blogger staff which means that the site is genuine and will last long. A site with a strong online presence will put out many links in its articles and be structured well. While displaying links, the site should not just include directly relevant ones, but should also integrate two seemingly different links making the site more relevant and genuine.

I hope this post helps. Please add your views and thoughts to make this into a useful thread.

Thanks all....!

That sounds like an article you copy/pasted or got written for $10 (no offence!) :)

LOL...! that's a good one. We do article writing for a living. This was written by one of our writers for our blog. I thought I would share this here which might help more people than to put it on our blog. :)

I am glad you think I paid $10 for this article.... We can deliver this quality at almost half the price.... if you are interested ;). Check out our business thread for details. I would prefer this to be a good resource than a sales thread.

Pretty obvious it was written by someone without experience, that's the only reason I mentioned it. You can also tell by the fact it's written in a formal manner that you don't usually get on forums/blogs.

I'm okay for content, though, thanks...

It is posted here with a good intention of sharing something that we think might help the members of the forum... :) I guess the language being formal shouldn't affect the actual message.

I thank you for your comments.

I'm a big fan of guest posts, hence why I clicked on it so I'm sure you'll get traffic either way :)
