Hi,
does anybody know out of all the web2.0, which is the easiest to push a personal page up the rankings? There are several authority sites with the same theme, I would like to create a new web 2.0 and push it above the other authority sites.
If you can list the easier ones to push.

Thank you

Well, I think blogger and wordpress are the two best web 2.0 site for you. You should give a try on those sites.

Wordpress.com is an instant delete once your competition reports your blog so I wouldn't invest to much time/money in it. Same with Blog.com and weebly.com. My recommendation is blogspot.com. Ranks the best from my experience and very unlikely to get deleted.

Just my experience.

I'd say the easiest is probably Blogger. It's pretty much instantly indexed and ranked after creation.

Tumblr and Posterous used to be amazing, too, but recently I've had a harder time getting Posterous to even index (compared to other properties)

Thank You all, see most of you have a preference in blogger. (the links rank also very quickly, I noticed). I was also going to use this as tier 2 in my wheel, from your experience do u think It will have negative effects to the money site, if I use blogger as tier2. (FYI- I am going to aggressively blasting the blogger)

I will suggest you, you should be use this
YouTube
WordPress
Flickr
IMDB
Photobucket
Blogger
Tumblr
eHow
HubPages

I'm currently using (in order of creation):
* Youtube
* Squidoo
* Tumblr
* eHow
* Mixture of social bookmarking (Stumble, Blink, Posterous)

That and about 100 backlinks I'm ranking highly (#3-1) on most of my keywords with a domain age of 9 months and 2500 unique daily visitors.

Always found Squidoo with a good bit of content works, then regularly add more and it should work.

Squidoo.

And what the other guy said about Wordpress is true. If I see a top 10 competitor site with a .wordpress URL, I immediately report it for BS reasons and it usually gets deleted within a week.

Tumblr, weebly, blinkweb are the hottest on the market now and are easy to set up. It is also wise to include some of g00gle's very own, like the G00glesites, Blogger, knol and I am sure they get better treatment by the big G than the other properties. :)

Good luck..

The ones that I currently use are:

blinkweb, blogger, squidoo, weebly, Tumblr and youtube.

The order varies on the age of the domain. If I am trying to improve the rank of an existing domain, i don't bother with blogger.

Stay away from wordpress, all your work can be erased by your competition in just a few seconds.

It's really great to see how great web 2.0 ranks but which is the best way to backlink them then?

Squidoo.

And what the other guy said about Wordpress is true. If I see a top 10 competitor site with a .wordpress URL, I immediately report it for BS reasons and it usually gets deleted within a week.

That really is pathetic. Just try to beat them fair and square. Oh wait, you can't. Loser.
