Please? My spoon is getting a little light, sir.. May I have a second helping?? :D

Well, here is where we need to learn from people with light coloured hats doing local SEO.The short master plan would be something along the following.

  1. PR1+ web directories, use brand name as a link
  2. Web 2.0 profiles, use brand name as a link and user name
  3. Link website to Google+ business page, add postal address and phone (you can use fake but you won't be able to claim the listing)
  4. Create a Google+ profile for persona and add to as many circles as you can
  5. Add authorship tag, link to Google+ profile
  6. Every time you update a website with anything, blast a press release (use postal address, brand name and naked links)
  7. Link blog to Feedburner, link Feedburner to Twitter
  8. Set up IFTTT to blast your RSS everywhere you can
  9. Add Google Maps to the website, add KML if you know how
  10. Build some citations via local directories (Foursquare, Yelp, etc)
  11. When you do a blast, add citation to YouTube video, Web 2.0 posts and article resource box
  12. Get some reviews on Foursquare, Yelp and Google+ page, fake it if needed
  13. Find some RELATED do-follow blogs and drop manual comment
  14. Find any RELATED blogs with high PR posts and drop a comment
  15. Mash up RSS feeds of your Web 2.0 properties and send them out with IFTTT
  16. Use any PageRank boosting techniques you know
  17. As a bonus, create separate persona for each Web 2.0 property you use for blasts and link it to G+ business page and add authorship tags
  18. Run a few blasts with brand name and naked links only

And yeah, make sure your site doesn't look like shit from 1999.

It's a lot of work that will pay off in a long run.

You did mention most recently that you had cooled on AMR.

I posted a short poor man's version of the blast with AMR portion omitted. I use AMR. Harvested a good list recently and success rates are 200+ live links per run.

This is a fantastic list. I'm also currently experimenting with using fiverr to get as many followers as possible to my Google + and Twitter pages, then blasting them with scrape box - since that is quite "natural" linking for a viral site, isn't it? :D

Just have two questions with this list:

1) Do you use a fake Google + profile, or link the business page to your real Google + profile? Since I have many sites, I don't think I would want to link them all to my real profile!

2) What do you use for press releases? Prweb is definitely the best, but paying $200 for a standard blast can easily eat away one's budget in the beginning.

Thanks for these awesome tips! You rock!

Thanks for yet another gold nugget. :)

Your original blueprint still works wonderfully with panda/penguin proof modifications, but have been looking for ways to further diversify and more importantly "protect" my rankings now, since there are far more factors aside from direct xrumer/SB blasts to money site that can hurt you now - with a lot more to come I bet.

1) For my own businesses I use my own profile. For niche sites, several fakes (using proxies and anonymous browsing mode to register).

2) You need to do PRWeb once in a while. They are too good to be ignored. Not after every post though. For quick and dirty press release I buy 200 words on MediaPiston or just quote the portion if the article from the site and add links and address, etc and run it via SENuke module and PRLog. PressReleaseMonkey.com are not bad as well.

how reverse engineering on SEO on competitors sites work? Any suggestions? Thanks

There's a concept in NLP called modelling. It can be directly applied to SEO. Find websites that get results that you want now and model their on-page and off-page SEO. You will get the same results. Then, combine a few models of success in one site and you will surpass them.

Anyone used this method using Magic Submitter?

I've been using Magic Submitter for this method instead of all the other tools in the past 2 months. In my opinion it really simplifies things, you just have to do the manual stuff and run MS, preferably with your own lists.

What's the success rate you are having with MS?

Just wondering what you use as the 'site title' when you submit an EMD to PR+1 directories. Should it be varied, or it safe to push the exact title.

For example, if my site is www DOT black cat pictures DOT com, do you think it would be safe to submit "black cat pictures" as the site title and keywords for 500+ directories- since that is after all the 'brand'?

Cash, as you know I have a problem with this exact quandary.

I'd think for this particular example phrases like "black cat pics" and "black cat photos" might be good variations. But what do I know? I've had a number of EMDs blown away by Penguin.
