I use Interpsire running on my own server and just import the list into a group and send away.

I'm sure any autorepsonder service like Awever or Mailchip or monkey or whatever it's called allows you to import a list of emails so they'd work too.

All of the above require double opt in.

Great method, shame that if you send emails then it is illegal, just have to make sure that you get as targeted as you possibly can to minimise the risks,

There are gigs on fiver where you can send them up to 5,000 email addresses and they will mass mail your message to them from their email address or a fake address. Would that solve the potential problem of you getting into trouble for spamming or would it not matter as the email would contain details on your business / offer?

That is a good idea to get the messages sent, however the main reason of doing that would be to try and stay anonymous and if you included your business name or affiliate link in the email then you are easily trackable

Great post. Now the trick is to find a way to inbox them all. I think rotating email accounts at popular services (live, yahoo, gmail) with proxies would work though I've never tried it.

It looks like 99% of all forums either have the member list disabled or show no email addresses of members.
Did someone find a smart way to filter out those sites? It's a pain in the a** to manually load all pages from the result list and check them.
