making my own website blog? please help!

so i've this website, lets say it's (mydomain)

if i set up (mydomain)/blog, and post articles on it, does it help my SEO? what thing do i have to take note of when i'm posting the articles there? is it that i can only post one a day? or several?

Make sure the articles have unique content that is based around certain keywords. Yes it will improve your SEO, make as many posts as you want, as long as they're quality assured. I suggest making regular articles of 400-600 words with 3-5% of that being the keyword you're ranking on.

+1 on what TheD4h101 said, quality articles with a 5% keyword density and backlinks. I dont suggest you use a spinning software, write them yourself or outsource the work.

I think 1.5 to 2% keyword density is much enough for 500 to 600 word article, because by use more repeated keywords content will not look good. And make sure keyword in title and description at-list once.

Really depends on the quality of the article. I can clear 5% easy without making it look like a a piece of junk.
But i understand where your coming from.
