Is this normal?

Hi,

lets say I target 3 KWs (blue widgets, red widgets, green widgets). All of them for the same page: www.xxx.com/yyy. 2 days ago one (!) of my KWs dropped from #1to #82. The other KWs are still in top 3. Is this a Google dance or have I been penalised for one keyword? Is it possible to be penalised for 1 KW in this situation?

No stuffing. Over-optimisng? Not really: I have maybe 50 BLs pointing to that url: 3 different anchors with variations, click here, a picture-link etc. ...

Seems like it could just be the Google dance. It is only 83 and not 803, so it is possible that if you stay consistent with backlinking and/or content creation, you will pop back up possibly even higher.

Smells a lot like a google dance... Leave it be for a couple of weeks and see if it comes back...

Normally the penalty is to the URL, due to backlinking, not for a specific keyword.
