Help me better understand what PR1-10 means?

I'm new in this kind of stuff. Would anyone help me understand about forum PR1-PR10?

PR is Page rank. The more authority your site has in Googles eyes, the higher the PR will be. Think of it like a voting system, high PR backlinks are important because Google trusts those sites. A "vote" or backlink from a high PR site is worth more than a backlink from a site with none, or a lower PR. Needless to say, one of the ways you can raise your own PR is by having high PR backlinks.

Pretty much it is what google uses to tell how much authority a site has. PR 10 has the most PR 1 the least. PR 0 None.

I thought the exact same thing, but then thought maybe all he knows is "PR" and had never heard of "PageRank", so I cut a brutha some slack.

Actually PR stands for Pagerank and it starts from NA, 0, 1, 2... upto 10....
Least is "NA" PR and "10" is the Highest PR...

He's spammed 3 different sub-forums with the exact same post, asking for some low-cost "VA work" (since he's in the Phillipines). Meh. What do I care. He's got the motivation to spam BHW looking for work, and wants to know what PR is? Wants to work, and wants to learn, and spams a little bit. Probably be a millionaire in 5 years, and I'll be asking him for work.

It is page rank. A measure of how google see's a site as an authority. Better PR= better ranking. < Not always true though.

PR define like the quality,user friendly,more famous of the website. facebook, linkedin, google have 8-10 PR. these are too famous, user friendly, good quality website
