There are still alot of people here not making any money. I want to fix that.

The people mainly suffer from the same problem; fear of failing. They don't take action because they are scared they'll waste both their time and their money.

So, what i want you to do i simple. Get a container that can sit in your room. A pint glass, a whiskey bottle case, a plastic box, anything. Put it somewhere that you will always see it.

Now, everytime you have spare change, put it in the box. YOU WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF IT!

So if you've been out to the pub and have some change in your wallet, put it in this. You see some change in your room, stick it in the box. You get on the bus, put the change in the box.

If it helps, pay for everything in cash, and put the change in this box.

I want you to get this box now, and i want you to start straight away.

Why? Because i want you to get atleast $50 in it by the end of the month.

This way, you won't miss the money, and you can use it for your IM ventures. Now, $50 isn't alot, but it will fund a website for aslong as you need, and it'll help get you off the ground if you haven't already.

Now, you could of course setup a blog with adsense and write some articles etc. But if you don't want to spend that much time, do this!

Think of the box as a shop, that the money is already spent. It'd be better to work out exactly how much you need then set that as the target.

You'll find that spending this money won't be as difficult as you think. I know alot of people don't like spending there hard earned cash on IM ventures incase they fail, so this might help you!

I think you're well wide of the mark, Jammie. People don't take action because they do not have a predisposition for it.

BH people differ wildly in character traits but we all have one thing in common - we are self-motivated. We have the ability not only to start a venture, but accept failures as mere stepping stones to success.

Only a minuscule percentage of the world's population has that ability, because even if people actually manage to kick themselves up the arse and get started on something, they will give up at the first disappointment - and let's face it, there are roughly 10 disappointments for each small success in this game.

It's a lonely, demoralising road to BH - or WH - success, and few people ever get far enough down the road to make a difference.

I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than.............er..........sorry, wrong book, but you know what I mean!

That is why I never join in with all of thes "take action now" stuff. Most people are never going to take action because it is not in their nature, and those that do take action don't the encouragement - they have the ability to envisage the prize and fix their gaze firmly on it.

Now I know some peeps are going to reply saying - "not true, I did nothing until Bill Blogs on this forum encouraged me...." and it may well be true, because there are always exceptions to every rule, but in general I think I'm right.

Yeah, i know what you mean entirely!

I've always had a phiboa of spending money i think is a waste, so it's hard for me to convince myself to pay for products/services etc. that i aren't sure about, and i used to do this and it helped alot i guess. Good job people change 'eh!

I agree that people are predominantly lazy, but you never know, some might see the light!

I agree with you jammie to some extent. People need to find motivation wherever they can get it from and sometimes need a little cash to get started. On the other hand though, I don't think money is the problem for most of them. I am still amazed at how much money these guys spend on membership sites, ebooks and everything else they buy. There are so many methods/lessons/tools here that you could start turning a buck in no time if you had $0 to start with. So the question really is, do they want to be an internet marketer or just pretend that they are?

aj113 is right, people don't take action because it isn't in their nature. And that is totally fine, just don't bitch about being broke on BHW. There are soooo many methods shared here and it is whether you decide to do them or not. If people don't want to use them, why not buy one of the sites people are flipping and just maintain the thing?

It helps to have a few bucks to get started but every member here should know by now that they don't need anything at all (BHW membership has it's privileges). Members just have to stop making excuses and do some work.

I notice alot of new members are starting off writing articles, then selling these to fund methods. Seems the easiest way so far!

People won't take the time to plan though, and that'll shoot them in the foot too!

There are lots of possible reasons why people don't do well.

Sometimes it is the opposite of what jammie has stated . . . Sometimes, believe it or not, it involves fear of SUCCESS. If one succeeds, often MORE responsibility goes along with it. And then there is the issue of protecting your assets, keeping records, paying taxes, etc., etc. This is why many people just hand their ass over to an employer for 20+ years. That way, they don't have to do anything except show up and do their menial task. A clock tells them when to start, when to eat lunch, and when to go home for the day.

Unfortunately, those poor suckers get used by their employers until they are no longer efficient at the job and then in the end, if they are "lucky", they get a gold watch and a pension that equates to little more than a welfare check.

Another, more insidious reason why people fail is because they were "programmed" at an early age to think that having lots of money is evil, when in reality, the better off you are, the more capable you are of helping others.

A reason many people fail in internet marketing is because they don't take it seriously enough. It's important for all of us to see our internet marketing as a BUSINESS, and not a hobby. We must consider ourselves as CEO's of our websites, and as good CEO's, we need to take responsibility for everything we do and stop the "blame game". We need to work fast, smart, and not have "paralysis by analysis", which means being "frozen" by trying too hard to be perfec and always over-analyzing everything. Truth is, if you aren't making at least SOME mistakes, you aren't marketing at the level you should. IM is a numbers game. Get your web pages up, promote the hell out of your products, generate your traffic, add more products, but above all, GET MOVING and KEEP MOVING!

Thats right Wiz fear to be rich famous I am exactly that I confess this is why I am a virtual rock star guitar as a hobby and not a real one.

Even though I got some real good riffs I composed.I am also a bit of a recluse and quite weary of people I dont even trust myself.


I would like to add that some people do not have logical brains or can sit down to work through stats etc this is a big difference in successful Net marketers and none successful net marketers

I was actually going to say the same thing. A lot of people are afraid it might jsut work and then what will they do. So they in turn give a less than stellar performance.

Of course I aslo believe fear of failure comes into pay a lot too. If you did not try all that had and failed then you can tell yourself if I had just worked harder then I would have been successful. Of course this does not mean they are going to work harder next time. Because then what would be their excuse.

Of course then there are those who just don't want to work at all. They read some eBook with some guru telling them how easy this crap is and it does no take any work, jsut put up a site and they will come. This people never relaize that those gurus want to keep them down, so they will buy more books. Its a vicious cycle and it saddens me to see so many people in it. Of course I'm not going to cry, because they put their selves in the situations and if they wanted to get out then they would.
