I've been using the Hyper V Lite package since a few weeks now and I guess its about time I left a review in the thread.

Pros -

1 - Extremely fast setup. In fact, I had the login details delivered to my inbox in 9 minutes flat after ordering. Cant complain about the delivery time, eh?!

2 - Stable VPS. No downtime till now.

3 - Considering that I am located in India and the VPS is in USA the packets have to travel to and fro from one end of the globe to the other there isn't much lag when I am doing stuff on the VPS. Its just as fast as my other VPS located in France.

4 - Stable speeds

Cons

None that I am aware of!

3) If my IPs will get flagged then what do I need to do to get it right again?

Yes, that is sufficient to run BMD however don't expect to run too many threads. In addition to that, you probably won't be able to run any other programs alongside it.

Hey Jamainia, like MP said, you would be able to run BD perfectly 1GB but if you are planning to run tons of software simultaneously then you might consider getting yourself 2-3 of RAM.

Their are lots of differences between linux and windows hosting. I won't go into detail but, linux vps are usually used for hosting websites, windows vps are normally used for running some kind of desktop based application. Most people who are running seo campaigns can't run their software on a linux based.

Regarding pricing, windows license isn't free whereas linux is open source and it's free.

And no, you can't run windows os on a Linux VPS
