Any idea how much this domain might be worth?

I have this domain "Titcy.com" and I listed it on sedo for sale a few days back. Some guy approached me and asked me for a price. I told him an outrageously high price. He replies to me saying he's ready to buy that domain if I could do the domain appraisal/evaluation from an independent third party manual appraisal company. His preferred one takes 49 Euros for 1 domain.

So, I was just wondering if someone with experience could tell me how much that domain might actually be worth?

Domain
Appraisal
Freq. Searches Traffic Comp. CPC com/net/org Sell It
TitCy.com $0 - - 28,358,187 - - Com Taken

Valuate.com value zilch $0 eek!

It's not an exact match domain but being a 5 character domain it could be worth xxx$.

wait make sure he pays for the appraisal/evaluation. I've this scam before. Did he email you some links that had reviews on a appraisal company? Search online for some of the keywords from that email, many people have gotten a lot of similar emails. It might be a scam.

This is a scam/promo by the appraisal company.

If your domain is worth something to someone, they will find it on sedo. lllll.com are not worth a lot by default.

Yes this is a classical domain scam. I've received countless emails telling me that they are ready to pay loads for the domain but first they ask you to get an appraisal. Tell them to go Fk off!

I had this suspicion. Thank you guys for confirming it.

@2makemoney: that's exactly what he did. He emailed me a link to some "forum" where he and a bunch of other guys were talking about what might be a good domain appraisal company.

You got out of that without being scammed. Nice to hear not been scammed story.

He tried his best. Two things sparked suspicion into my mind 1) Agreeing to my insanely high price at the cost of me doing the appraisal. 2) Driving me to a forum page where only one company was put emphasis on. Maybe other BHW members like me will be more careful now after watching this thread.

You should reply and say, "I tried clicking on the link you sent, but an error came up that said 'This affiliate account has been permanently terminated by Domain.com due to a violation of the ToS. Please click continue to appraise your domain without assigning referral credits.' I went ahead with it but I'm not sure what the other stuff meant."

This will give him a shock! He will think that you ordered it and that he is no longer receiving commission on his links.

hahaha

Can't see the domain being worth much at all, unless someone wants to use it for branding.

$XX- low $XXX IMO
