Someone guide me I am losing it!

I have only one site, that I have been trying to get on top for few keywords but I just can't get it nowhere!. I tried with Senuke and I think instead of helping me the serp it hurt my site. Few of the keywords that I used to rank from 80 to 30 ranking in are now over 100. I have a great on site seo on the posting but its just the off site seo that i am struggling with. I have read here many time how the backlinks should have diversity in them with web 2.0, article submissions, blog commenting, rss feed, bookmarking Etc. I just don't know where to start! how many of each type of backlink should I create everyday. Please Help!. The site is 5 months Old. Most of the content on the site is not unique is that the problem?

I think that's probably a big part of the problem. I know software sites and news sites often use content that you can find elsewhere but personally, I would never try to rank a site that wasn't unique.

Well there is the problem.... You don't have unique content. Why would google wanna rank a sites that have the same content.

You need to think of it as a customer point of view.
