WP plugin or software to convert youtube videos to mp3?

Hi guys,

as title says, is there any wp plugin or software to make an online website where people can post youtube video links and have those videos converted to mp3s which are then downloadable?

I put the youtube link there and download the MP3 version of it.

You have to use FFMPEG for the conversion of youtube video to rip off the mp3. FFMPEG is free, just download it and go thru the commands. All other sites does the same way. And FFMPEG hosting will be required for it to do the conversion. Hope this helps.

FYI, FFMPEG is not an WP plugin. It's a multimedia framework/package which consists of codecs and stuff for conversions, recording etc.

I think he is looking for a way to host a website where the users will be able to enter youtube url and in turn get the mp3 for the correspoding video. So the best way is to use ffmpeg to do the conversion and controlled via php.

There's quite a few very cheap scripts for it, just g00gle youtube to mp3 scripts or something along those lines

hey man there are many sites you can use
i use a new one because usually the newer ones are quite a bit faster than those that have been existing for while
