Buying SEO leads, any good?

Hi all,

I've started by own SEO firm, with a team of 13 marketing professionals. Our services are way above the competition as we offer guaranteed first page rankings in all our contracts. With a team like the one I have set up with me right now, and what I'm offering most of my leads are converting. However, I'm not getting enough of them. I'm based in India, so the offline marketing tactics such as sending out mail and stuff wouldn't work as my target market is the US, Canada, UK and other parts of the world. I'm currently looking for SEO/Web/IT companies from around the world to partner with for so they could benefit from my team, and also help me grow my client base. Besides that:

I came across these sites like: http://webleadsinc.com/seo_leads.html , http://theleadtree.com/leads/seo-leads/ , http://seoleadhq.com/ and others. These people charge quite a bit per lead, however promise high quality leads.

I sent an email to one of them asking if these leads are exclusive or one lead is given to a lot of people together. But I got no reply.

Anyone had any experience with it?

Why don't you try out cold calling to businesses instead of spending on leads?

if you have really have A1 service then there should be no problem in getting clients.why dont you do seo on your site?It may bring traffic and also good clients to your blog.

$15 per lead is expensive? When most SEO projects can be worth hundreds of dollars? I don't see the problem in paying them for their leads.

If you promise 1st page google ranking, that's a pretty solid value proposition and can be a good advertising message. Cold calling stinks. Internet leads are questionable.

Yea for real. If your SEO is that good just do it on your site. Rank for something amazing and you will EASILY get leads

Yeah, but I want to know whether the $15 is worth anything or not. I don't want to end up spending hundreds on this and not getting any business.

Yes, I'm going to have my team start working on our site too. Till then, I was thinking of getting some quick deals.

SEO Leads sakk. Don't waste your money. Those leads are sold off to 20 different companies regardless of what they tell you. 25% are straight bogus, 50% have no budget and the other 25% will shop you around to the point where it is unprofitable, they eventually get burned by a cheap seo provider and write off all SEOs as snake oil salesman and scam artists.

Best sources for leads:

#1. Referral
#2. Targeted Cold Call
#3. Inbound lead from your website

Yes, this is from experience. SEO lead shuck balds. But don't take my word for it, try them out.

Those people at web leads inc drive me fucking insane..
They call me all the god damn time.

They sent me 1 lead for SEO and when I called the person I called was totally pissed the fuck off that I even called.

The guy there called me yesterday infact. They dont ease up...

He was probably pissed because he filled out a lead form 15 months ago and has been pounded on every other day since then.

The best lead is the business that has a clear need that you point out to them and offer a solution.
