Err.. sorry to be such a noob, but when having a sales letter website with an ebook, and people pay for it via PayPal, how do I then redirect them to the Thank You/Download page? E-mail? thanks for reply.
Robert

When you go to paypal and set up your "buy now" or "add to cart" or "pay now" button there's an option (in step 3 i think) where you can put in the URL you want your buyer to be redirected to after purchase.

damn it...I cannot access the page 3 since I dont have a business acc...

i think you can also get proper digital download carts?? which accept paypal..

yeah like graphic said...go to umm
Code:
http://www.digitalproductdelivery.com
Your 1st product is free and they automatically send out a email to your customer with an encrypted one time only (I think) use DL link.

well..id rather not let my first product for free..
davejug, could you pls explain how to set up auto-responder, so that the email is sent to them right after they purchase it? thanks

ok...thanks for help guys, I upgraded to business account, so it will take him to thank you page - something like 0f5s2vf67s2.html

you just have to create a button from paypal that it will redirect the user to a page that you want. Check out the options that you have in paypal when you create the button. Go to advanced one also.

well...most of my customers will be from CL so I dont think theyre smart enough

well...ill be just a little whore wanting a nice present for me...my own ebook! :)

I use a free shopping cart script called VirtueMart that accepts PayPal and confirms the transaction before allowing someone access to the DL page. Works pretty well for what I need to do.
