So im sure as some of you guys have seen, the top rated comments on some top videos were "Check out my video" or something of that nature, I know some of you guys do it here, but is it actually a good method in advertisement? The top rated comments often get deleted and cycled, so is it really worth the effort?

Do you guys find it annoying?

I dont do it, but i am sure they find it annoying. But i doubt it gets taken down in seconds, and if the video is popular enough the comment probably served its purpose, and got the views, etc.

It depends a lot on who is managing the video. On all my vids when someone tries it, I delete them instantly.

However, I guess if someone is really hands off on their vids, it could work. However, normally they just look really spammy.

Do you see them as a success on other popular videos? Like have you ever seen a top rated comment which was clearly thumbed up botted and thought "yea i'd check that guy out" lol?

I guess it depends on what you are advertising - I have a site which I promote and it does EXTREMELY well with me doing only 20-40 comments per day. You need to make the comment less spammy as well, if you put 'OMG check out this video blah blah..' then people won't click it because it looks really fake.

I actually used to check out the highest rated comments before I started with cpa / ppd so yeah it can work.

i used to make a fortune off top comment rating until it get so hard to successfully do
if anybody can still SUCCESSFULLY do some comment rating pm me and maybe we can jv n make some $$

this is a good idea. anyone know how to do this?
You need a comment rater bot (not that easy to find). I got a freelancer to code me one for $100, it's working perfectly atm. The good thing is you don't need that many accounts either, I have about 30 and it does the job most of the time. Then just link to a site with a CPA offer on - easy money ;)

I created my own bot for rating the comments, and so far its working real well. As everyone here mentioned, its always the quality of your post as opposed to the quantity.

I used to do this way-back-when there were a lot of bots capable of mass voting comments to the top easily. It worked REALLY well, and I had quite a few $1,000 days promoting CPA offers. I don't bother anymore though..
