Not quite sure if this was written as a satyr on the many internet "gurus" out there, but this was definitely a good read.

And no, I'm not just some random n00b commenting on an 08 post, but I'm also commenting on the recent comments that people have been making. I wonder if the n00bs trying to build rep in this forum are some of those "gurus" that also want to comment on their services/products.

I think one of the reasons I didn't turn this into a product yet is because it made me negative about the whole IM world.

That's a mistake. If you feel bitter about something, you won't feel good doing it. The info is correct, but the mindset is not the most productive in the world.

So why not take the bitter out?

Instead of BS, maybe I should have talked about monkey-poo and coffee beans (civet coffee or kopi luwak) as a metaphor for Internet marketing. The trick would be to separate the poo from the beans and have a fine brew.

It's just there's so much gawdawful monkey-poo out there...
