how do you create seed articles for the tier one web 2.o properties and how do distribute them on the tier 1 properties. do you scrape relevant articles, mix and mash them together , clean them up a little and then run them through a spinner along with a char spinner or do you have manual content written and have it spun manually for tier 1's. do you use a single huge article or have many articles in spintax and use them for submission with your bots?

and how do you build out your tier one web 2.o properties? are they single post properties or do you first post 3-5 articles without links to build them out and then post the content with your links on them.

and how is your content like for tier 2 properties. scraped and spun?

Everything is manually made and manually spun, web 2.0 properties get between 3-6 articles all linking to different sites (either I own or authority sites)

Google clearly cannot tell the difference between spun and real content... however, all of this stuff is manually written and not pulled from some crappy source.

GateKeeper, take a look at this thread "My SEO Blueprint (SENuke, AMR, BMD, Xrumer, Scrapebox)" by cash202, in this section of the forum. I think it provides a great example of a link pyramid. Although, there is interlinking (like a link wheel) between different tiers and the money site.

I would like to add .... You can rank like anything - just make 2.0s - power them with blogposts and then sparingly use blog networks on your money site and make profile/comment/sig/AD links for the purpose of diversification. That's it.

In super competitive terms like ecigg etc. You will need a lot of 2.0s along with blogposts.

I use seed articles that are highly readable (manually done up and written) and over 350,000 words (some have 1-2 million words, but these are only used as tier 2s) when finished.

How many words are there before adding synonyms for word level spins? Do you generate the synonyms with some tool? How do you check that a million+ words will actually make sense in the final generated articles? Just reading that many would take me forever never mind editing them as well!

If you are using standard tools, you cannot actually use such an article. It breaks almost every tool out there.

That said, I went over this in detail in previous posts and definitely not going to rehash what I have said many times before.

I just wrote my own tools for creating spun articles and for generating synonyms and creating the spintax structure etc, so that shouldn't be a problem.. just wondering about the manual checking of such a huge list of words/synonyms if that is what you do since I'm not sure I'd trust any program to use sensible synonyms every time even if the result is more or less readable it would generally look like it was written by a non-native speaker of english. I don't remember seeing specifically that discussed before but I'll have another look.

I don't "generate" synonyms, I manually apply them with many of the tools out there.
Autogenerating spintax sucks no matter how its done.

I use Link Aloha and have had some great results! They have tutorials on how to use their software to build pyramids. As others have expressed above the idea is solid. You link the highest quality type links directly to your money site, less quality links to your tier one links, and blast the lowest quality links at the tier two links. Link Aloha makes the setup VERY EASY! Also, Link Aloha allows you to use your own content instead of using their spun content, I highly recommend this. Unique content can go a looooong way when you are blasting article links. PM me if you have any specific questions on what has worked for me. Cheers Brother and Happy Linkbuilding!

You really need to do it manually, sentence by sentence. You can use Favourites in TBS to speed up the process, but it still takes time, and you only choose really sensible favourites. Without an excellent grasp of the English language, you'll end up with a crappy spin, sorry to say. You need to have a great understanding of grammar, and even read it after you've applied your favourites or you'll ruin the whole damn thing.

In saying that, TBS is a POS. The favourites re-add themselves after deletion .etc, buggy piece of crap in my opinion. I'm currently weighing up alternatives.

The fewer sites you are working on, the more you can build elaborate and slow/manual link structures. If you are trying to build a backweb efficiently for a large number of sites (unless you can afford to outsource), the more you have to simplify your link chain/pyramid/wheel strategy to accomodate doing lots of sites. I find the supposed 'detectability' of linkwheels issue to be overstated, and the 'undetectability' of pyramids to be likewise exaggerated. Since the last updates, it appears Google has some ability to detect both single level and multi-level interlinking, but only if it's done as per the most obvious versions. So if a simple tweak or two is made, either will work for the purposes of quickly setting up an effective backweb.

A simple two level structure where the interlinking is done on the 2nd level, with each property linking to a buffer site on the first level pointing to the money site, for example, has been working for me to backlink for a farm of sites. so instead of:

1>2>3>4>5>1 (Classic wheel), or

2nd Level > 1st Level> $ (Classic pyramid), it's

1-5 > 5 Buffer sites > $, with 5> linking to the first buffer site, but NOT back to 1 (simple combo 2 level pyramid and open wheel).

buffer site = site between your money site and the links/spam/properties that you are using to promote it.... That way, in theory, you aren't doing anything directly to your money site that may negatively affect it.....

Link Pyramids, etc.? Check out Michael Campbell's Revenge of the Mini-Net - a la 2002 or so... It's not exact, but you can get some good info out of it. I think you can get it free now for signing up for his e-mail list, but used to sell for $97. Leslie Rhode used to have a doc called Dynamic Linking about the same time, both are pretty good introductory linking references/introductions.... Again, not EXACTLY link wheel/pyramid, but definitely good resources for linking. Lynus Rylander also released a rehash of it a year or two ago, about link wheels, etc. but like most people above....it's pretty self explanatory......bust out MindJet, Visio, or something else, and draw out a wheel, and/or pyramid and then get after it....

Really depends what you are trying to do, what you're trying to do, etc. More difficult the niche or keywords, the more things you need to get right, but MOST issues are a linking problem - either the addition or subtraction thereof.... in most cases, addition, but not stupidly either. Just because you can't, doesn't mean you SHOULD.... 2.5 million xrumer links to a local auto dealership, you should be shot... Use common sense, see what is getting other people there, and then bang it out. The more wholly you can control your environment, the better... The more you can automate the better. The less it LOOKS controlled and automated, the better.... Period. Anchor text matters most, you can rank blank pages, totally off topic pages, and basically whatever the hell you want with the right number of links, the right anchor text, and within reason again.... You don't want 100% anchor text density - while that works, I've seen it sink some huge sites, one client from 70k/uniques/day to 50k/uniques/day, to just over 20k uniques a day over the past 2 months..... What works in one situation, may not work in another, and you pretty much need to get a feel for it...
