anyone know where I can get any tutorial vids for Ultimate Demon? I have found plenty of bookmarking demon ones but non for Ultimate Demon :(

Here we go for more:

youtube user ultimatedemonreviews

I'm not associated with it.

I'm not finding Ultimate Demon that intuitive.

An example is when I try to select categories for a new Web 2.0 task.

According to the UD guide and video tutorials if I enter "pets, animals" into the Categories field and then click on "Set Category" then it should auto-fill the list of Web 2.0's with relevant categories (or those closest to it).

Instead, when I click on "Set Category" and use the exact same example as in the video then I get the following message "nothing to add. All available sites are already added to this task. If I enter "fashion" as a category then only one Web 2.0 is autofilled with that category.

It also doesn't give me the option to access a drop down category menu for each web 2.0.

Am I doing something fundamentally wrong ??

Thanks for info on demondemon.com and YT channel.
I'm still hungry to learn tips and tricks using UD.

I have the same experience with spiritusuk above. I guess I'll post on UD forum later.

Apologies. It is really bad practice of me to get an answer to my own question and then not post it.

I received a reply from UD that if you're setting up Web 2.0's then most of them do not need categories which is why there is no option to select them. I assume Article Directories would have categories so you should see the drop down menu there.

WEB2.0 (proper WEB2 - not "guestbook" WEB2) do not need categories.
If you are used to using the sort of service which offers "500 WEB2.0 accounts for $10" then you might be used to seeing categories used. But these sites are just glorified guestbooks and if the definition of WEB2.0 were ever actually set in stone (it's not - it's a very loose definition) then most of these junk sites hosted in eastern Europe or the far east would not meet the criteria, they certainly are nothing like Wordpress.com or Hubpages or Tumblr or whatever, they are basically junk.

The good WEB2 sites that Ultimate Demon supports rarely require categories. But you need to define subdomain (that will form part of the URL - so no spaces) title and subtitle AND tags. That's enough category for anyone :)

You can post full articles, use the accounts and URL for more than one article, embed photos (and is some cases video and even podcasts and stuff on some of them)

I have about 255 that I can create accounts on (inluding ELGG and JCOW platforms) and about 105 that allow full submissions (multiple submissions etc) PR ranges from 9 for wordpress to quite a few zero's for the domain URL, plenty in the middle around 3,4 and 5 - a nice mix. Many have a LOT of traffic, so posting good content gets you a lot of direct visits...always nice!

Scritty
