After killing it in my exams to get into uni, I lasted 2 weeks there. It was far too slow-paced for me, and I already had tonnes of self-taught knowledge.
A few years later I got a job by lying on my resume saying I had a degree. Within a month I was in charge of a room full of guys who actually had degrees and knew shit all - it became very apparent to me that university has nothing on what you can teach yoursel ok the Internet.
One of the most intelligent and most talented guys I know quit my University course after the first year. He is self employed creating website, managing clients and a self-made man; earning a very comfortable living and master of the way he chooses life. University gets too much credit because you generally have to be a smart and driven person to get there, so of course successful people have Degrees. But if the same subset of smart, talented and driven individuals spent 4 years learning independently they would achieve equal if not great success than their degree is worth.
It's all about the person, not the paper.
