Youlikehits will remove facebook likes feature again on June 13th

I am still wondering what happened to the first facebook C&D letters that all those youlikehits alike websites received? Were they real or it was a well-planned hoax by the owners of those websites to make people spend money like crazy to get as many like as possible? I know that the youlikehits owner is on BHW, don't take this as an insult since I am just trying to understand what is going on.

Last but not least, how definitive do you think this removal will be?

I do agree with you. It has turned from a very good website into an extremely laggy one. On average, I get points only for 2 liked facebook pages out of 10. But back to the topic, will facebook likes be gone forever from those websites? Any solid info on this?

Yes they will, there are lots of threads about this today. ALL exchange sites that have been mentioned here in BHW have been give C&D's from FB

Seriously, searched for today's threads about this topic and could not find one mentioning it. Thank you for letting us know it will be gone for good. I'm just wondering what did really happen 2 weeks ago when the exchange sites received C&D's, stopped the service for 2 days and then restored it back?

I wonder if any other exchange site outside of the US could ignore these C&D letters. I was looking into using Zennoposter to create a YLH bot but afer reading their blog I guess the crackdown has cometh.

Facebook is trying to clean up their fan base due to all of the bad publicity they are getting lately. Not only are the exchange services receiving C&S letters but fans sellers as well. I've also noticed the quality of their ads goign down. Me seems to think Facebook is getting desperate.

They're probably doing it because it takes away from their ads. I had a site about paypal once which was harmless, and they finally admitted that it took away from their directory which was a money maker for them. They either got affiliate commissions or the stores paid to be in the directory. I can't remember which it was.

The fb likes are back again. I was going to make a new thread in case people don't know, but wasn't sure if you wanted the word out there, seeing as how it now says "fb likes." Either way, this is cool. Glad the likes are back.
