Im using small packages at Dripable and Backlinks Genie. Dont know if its doing any good for my websites but Im mainly using them to get some backlinks to my blogs, youtube pages, videos and other sites that have direct links back to my main site.

Try writing a unique bio with your link. They still work for me and after a run of 100 on an odesk job I got 83/100 indexed. They work if you use them right.

Thanks, i think after adding bio to each profile backlinks, now profile backlinks give me good result. Profile backlinks are now get indexed quickly.

Why don't you try to building one profile, without a link in it, add some info in it and make it look real, then blast with other links and finally update the profile and add a link

Profile back links are not in use dude.
But yes its true that they have some effect still now. But you have to continue doing other methods of link building because link diversity is very important. Don't just stuck in one process. it can hurt your ranking.

With these animals updates, I guess some things may carry less weight, other will be more important, but diversity will make your sites stay around longer...I got a low rate of useful profile backlinks, but I still use them...I will try to include more info around, pic...bla bla

If you are solely building only profile links, then, yeah won't work that well.

Moreover, when you use in with other link building methods, it does work, but not alone.

I use high pr profile backlinks with raw urls, for link and anchor diversity.

Just have to use them the right way, for them to work.
