Does Jacking Music Videos Against the law?

Does downloading music videos and then watermark them and then reupload against the law?

It's copyright infringement, so yeah it's against the law, and against Youtube TOS , but most of the time if YT gets a complaint they just remove it. You don't really have to worry to much, the first time they just remove the video and not the whole account.

Edit by me:

There are ways around copyright, like if you chop out pieces of the music video and use it in say a remix. The remix can contain lots of different videos but would have to in a way look like your own original work.

ya currently i just watermarked people's music videos and upload it back up again. Hopefully i dont go to jail for doing this.

For my MP3 site i took photo slides and cut pieces of music around it and then made it into a video in camtasia.

Uploaded to YT and been sitting there for a good 12 months now i think.

I wouldn't worry about going to jail over it.. YT just has to comply with the DMCA. They have been sued so many times it's not even funny.

add transitions and effects and shit to distort the video as much as possible.. make it go black and white for a few, slow n chop the music, make your own remix version basically.. youtube can detect audio and video very well...

Yeah videos are copyrighted. If you use it to use them to promote nothing bad will happen worse s is your video gets taken down.,

man this is super bad. I uploaded almost 400+ videos with my url watermarked onto the video but i only get like 2 clicks a day...
