I'm having trouble, so I'm starting over again. Suggestions?

I've barely made any money, and I can honestly say it's the most discouraging thing. Even though its hard to hold on, I'm not giving up. I've read and read threads over and over, waited for new methods, but for some reason I can never take action. When I do take action, I always mess up.

On the positive side, I do have some money to invest from article writing! (Heh, article writing has been my only successful method so far). So, what's a good way to invest it?
What did you all start out with? Where's a good place to start?

I'm not asking for any handouts or anything, I'm just not sure what a noob should start out in. I'll research it thoroughly.

Well, I write through a website called textbroker. I don't think I want to start an article writing business, rather than websites or email lists. However I could try it one day. What is a BST?

There's a few things you can do. You can rummage around here for a few months and pick up tidbits of information, and you will, eventually (if you stick around long enough) find a way to be profitable. You can start buying "methods" and "Look how I made $xxx,xxx in 2 seconds with seo" books, which will ultimately lead you back here once you tire of that crap (or lose a substantial amount of money, whichever comes first). You can apply the methods taught here, and you'll likely have moderate success. You can pay for some coaching, and have someone whose already making $xx,xxx figures a month show you how it's done (usually very expensive, but generally worth it if it's actual 1on1 and not 1onWebinar).

Either way, everything takes time. Start thinking outside the box and learn as much as you can. At some point you'll stop looking for "methods" and start making up your own.

A lot of people avoid it because $100+ an hour seems pricey but by the time you've wasted a ton of money on ebooks and failed strategies, the amount will be considerably more than anything you pay a coach.

Sticking with a method whilst consistently working on that said method is a pretty effective formula.

Ah unfortunately I don't have $100/hr to spend. I'd only be able to buy around 2-3 hours.

I was thinking of doing CPA+Youtube, (FileIce) but I can't find any methods anywhere. I don't know whether to use free weebly sites or buy a domain. I was thinking of doing free weebly sites. How do other BHers make videos for their niches? Do they take a bunch of videos and use clips from them?

I probably wouldn't want to buy a coach anyway, too expensive and I'm not sure that I'll learn properly. There is tons of information I've read on here. Hopefully it clicks one day! I've tried looking at some CPA+FileIce methods, but there aren't many on here that I can find. Anyone have a thread bookmarked they can link me to?

Whenever I attempted to put an affiliate link on a Wordpress site it wouldn't let me. Then again I was using a free wordpress domain, so that was probably the issue. Unfortunately I don't really know how to get facebook likes or twitter followers. I could also do some videos to gain traffic to my website! However I don't really like Adsense so I'd probably stay away from that and do an email list sort of deal.

Not sure how you can tar everyone with the same brush but I agree that many are not worth the money.

If you find one that is, you can stand to save a lot of time and frustration and that is potentially worth a lot of money if it stops you from quitting 3 months down the line.

I'll give you a method that has worked for me for years, if you promise to stop making excuses and actually do something. If you're willing to put in a few solid hours of work you can make (at the very minimum) $100 in affiliate commission easily.

I'm going to be putting together some training stuff and giving it away in the coming weeks/months, but I'd like to give it to a few people first that will actually show their results. It requires a bit of technical knowledge, but nothing that can't be figured out in 15-20 minutes of trial & error. PM me if interested.

My advice is to stop digging around for new methods, find 1 thing that works and just do that. Don't overthink it, just do it. Every single method shared on BHW will work (to some degree), some require more work than others but they all require you actually sit down and do something.
