desperately looking for seo profit share

hi all,

I've been on the hunt for a person who is willing to do profit share for my site, I know it is difficult and not worth it to many of you, but still if someone wants a challenge and share profits of a business that was once profitable than this is an exciting opportunity.

Basically I have a private investigation business that I have been running for the last 5 years purely out of word of mouth, but now this source of refferals seems to have died down (a lot!!) to an extent that I was thinking of changing industries altogether. However, recently connecting with my linkedin buddies I have found that online presence is to a key to successfully locking in new clients is being online with a great ranking site. Now I have more or less done the first stage of making the website, I have also done a lot of seo myself (this isn't my area) but it's not ranking, most likely because I'm no good at it.

I am now looking for a partner who can handle the online presence part of the business (seo) and get this I am willing to give 40% of of the gross profits we make (I'd rather share money than have no money coming in), I am being honest I will draw up all the contracts, this is a uk business, it was once profitable, I have had to lay off most of my staff (over 20 personnels) and only use them ad hoc if needed now. Good luck on this manpreet. The fact that you once had 20 employees shows that the business has potential. Maybe you can share the records of revenues/income with the SEO candidates to get them interested in this. One thing is what you say is the potential of the business and another is what you "show" or prove to them. Just my 2 cents.

Sure, i would certainly like to show them this but I'm not comfortable with displaying figures on a forum like this. Lets just say if we can pick up business through online marketing then I'm pretty sure both parties would be earning more than a salaried person, that saying it could be anything lol, again I would further discuss this privately with potential and serious people.

Yes, that's what I meant. I wouldn't post financial figures in the forum, or if I do, I would at least black out names, account numbers, and other sensitive or private information.
