Penguin deleting root domains from the Serps

Just build more generic anchor text links to the root domain.

Those sites are deindexed .

Remove all content from it . Add new 100% unique content in well native english

And submit your site from again Google Webmasters again .
You probably shouldn't do this.

lol yes i didnt plan to do this ;)

What kind of links you call natural links nowadays?

Forget about anchor text optimisation and keywords. If you were a webmaster, article writer, social user linking to your site, how would you do it? Would probably use URL, brand name, or stuff like click here..

yes but i mean from where to get the links? from which sites? i created a few blogger optimized blogs, and squidoo lenses...but from where else can i get "natural links"

thankjs man

I thought it was just me that this was happening to.

When I search mysite.com there's only two results that are actually my site(including homepage) and a few weeks ago there was around 40+ pages of results that were from mysite.com

The site was ranked #1 before all of this for a competitive keyword, so I don't know what to do.

The only thing that I've done that I shouldn't be doing is selling a few links , which could be the reason why it's in trouble?

Nobody exactly know what is happening after penguin update some lost rankinfs but i see improvement in my rankings and traffic.I wrote content myself and did only little backlinking

Related sites in the same topic would be a good start. They're not easy to get, but they wouldn't be natural if they were would they?

Good discussion. Noticed this problem on my main site this morning.

Searching for mysite doesn't show any backlinks and none of the inner pages.
Searching for mysite.com shows a different site which is slightly similar to mine

Never faced this problem since the 3 years this site has been online.

Although when I use serpfox, rankings for mysite shows #2 and mysite.com shows #1

Starting to wonder which one is more accurate.. searching in google.com from my browser or to rely on serpfox's ranking.

I don't know which country you are in but serpfox only has US data centres and therefore is only accurate in the US because of location factors

Based in Europe. But a search in google.com should show the US data, if i'm not mistaken?

This has been happening to me for few months now and few days ago it also happened to my main site which was hit before it with penguin. I don't know what exactly caused what, but anchor diversification is I think the key problem of most of us who created unnatural links. My problem is that I don't know where to get enough quality links to lover the percentage of exact match anchors...

As Far as the search results showing inner pages, that has been the trend for few months, in my opinion penguin has nothing to do with it. There was an algorithm update in yahoo&bing (sadly nobody spoke or discussed about it) about 12 days back, after this update yahoo and bing also shows a lot of inner pages for the keywords rather than the home page.

In my opinion it is for the good.

This:

Frankly I think this behavior is more panda like. That said, this type of things used to happen long before penguins & pandas and very often it's temporary, after some time the root page gets its rankings back.

This:

stop the BS. your site hasn't been deindexed. If your site were deindexed you wouldn't have seen a single page from it appearing in serps.

Your homepage is either dancing or has been penalized.

This:

most likely caused by too many of the same anchor text.

This:

I think this is an interesting point and goes a little way to suggesting that the demotion penalty is not site wide and rather on individual pages or if it is site wide, it effects certain pages more than others. Otherwise it would be relative and the same page would rank in the serps.

I have noticed the same with my site that has got slapped. For a particular keyword, the homepage use to rank highest and now a relatively new page now does. The homepage still ranks for other keywords so there's nothing wrong with the page, it just doesn't rank very highly because of the demotion penalty caused by penguin.

These comments are spot on. This sounds more like a Panda issue. I dealt with this a lot during Panda. Homepage would go missing and some internal page would rank for the keywords further down in SERPs.

For many sites it just took time. I continued to build links to the homepage and it eventually popped back up.

As far as where to build them just look in the services for sale threads. Even if you don't have the money they tell you all kinds of places where they get backlinks from.

Please ignore the posts about being deindexed.

I think the point is about the demotion of the home page causing the inner pages to out rank it rather than inner pages showing up in search results.

UPDATE:!!!
bought some videos on fiverr and uploaded them on youtube with a link to my site (no anchor text. just mydomain.com link) and the site is back to first page (the root domain!)
hope it remains like this! will see tomorrow

I've caused this homepage penalty on several of my sites but so far was able to get one ranking again with a few strong links. The same fix is not working on other sites but I'll try more.

What type of strong links do you recommend?

update - i lost the main URL and PR for one of my sites and of course rankings, but after a week its back. I hope it stays that way.

Ummm....that's totally bogus, dude. It's not true.

I've seen this more and more lately with my newer sites, and believe that it may have something to do with relevancy across the ENTIRE site. My theory is that Google, at least initially, thinks that this particular inner page that is ranking is more relevant than your root domain.... It's like the first process that the algo goes through to categorize a site. Google is trying to figure out what your site is about. I could be wrong, but it's just a theory. So far this theory has stood the test of time through about 10 different domains of mine...many of them had the same issue prior to the Penguin update, and many of them are doing the same thing post Penguin. Eventually all of them stabilize though, after Google figures out what your site is about and where it should be filed in the SERPS. Google will eventually rank the root domain for the keyword instead of the inner page after it goes through all of the initial algo processing steps.....
