Hey guys I am new to flippa and just listed my first website. My question is, have you guys had okay experiences using paypal on flippa. I have been screwed over many times via paypal being the seller as they seem to always favor on the side of the buyer. I am currently only allowing escrow on my auction but there fees are really high and would like another alternative. Have you guys had good success with using paypal when selling a site and are there certain things I can do to protect myself from being scammed? THANK YOU.

I have done it twice with paypal with out any issues, even if the guy opens a dispute if you can prove to paypal that you gave him your content and domain name they will almost always end the dispute in your favour.

Thanks Man. Maybe as a precaution ill put the shit on a disc as well and mail it to them.

I personally have no experience with this, but I was doing some research on site flipping and I believe meathead said that he sends the content on a CD along with an invoice to make sure things go smoothly.

he said this doesn't really work anymore... =(

I'll sell you a contract I had drawn up by an attorney that will protect you 100%. You can get it for $25. :)

Thats all well and good, but its assuming that the person doesn't use a stolen Paypal account. If the account is hacked, Paypal will not side with you. When I sell on Flippa I usually wait at least 24 hours before transferring things to make sure that there isn't a quick chargeback.
