I liked it. It was a bold choice for the Russians and people had fun with the song. You gotta love these babooshkas! Their smiles were priceless. I liked Denmark's entry but not too many agreed with me.

People don't want simple songs , they want something unique, what will make them laugh , if not laugh then get to their feelings or so.


Yes in one way it's a bit unfair, neighbours will give each other 12 Points , but at the end, ALWAYS the best song wins... Sweden got a lot of votes from everyone, if not 8, 10, or 12, then from the 1-7 pts.

I wanted Romania to win,but I think most of Europe hates Romania. I think I'm going to put a ton of money I make from my Project next year,in buying a few million cell phone numbers in various euro countries, So I can vote for Romania.

Sweden would have been awesome if their entry was Basshunter or SHM.

These contests aren't taken seriously these days, people vote for things they like and people that can entertain. Talent isn't the main thing anymore...

Russia sure was original and in my opinion that is how it should be. But I did not dig the Swedish LAdy GAga, nothing original, not even in native tongue. Italy wera much better along similar style imho. But I really liked Macedonia. Of course I would have liked BiH to have scored better but they, along with Serbia and Albania choose way to slow songs. Anyways, Congrats Sweden (I am not against the country, I have relatives in Goteburg and Malmo, just this particular song was not my cup of tea)

Still, even if it is "rigged" or "stupid" I do find it a nice event to take the mind of depressing things. Wish we could had settled things on the balkans with songs back in the 90ies.

What are you talking about? I live in the States and downloaded the episode from a torrent so maybe I am off by an episode...

I am talking about the video below. Guy votes for another country because he's pissed off that his country blocked another countries performance on TV. The police than comes to his house and question him.
