My approach to the JV is to see if there would be any interest in creating a business with another BHW member.
I have an idea to start a business in mobile app marketing where it would help another person get there app popular. There is a strong market for it and we can get it scaled extremely large. I have already tested the grounds to see if anyone would be interested in having their apps marketed. My downfall is the fact I have no apps that I can say I viably got to the trending first page. If I had that, I would have a plethora of clients paying.
I am able to get the contracts to get exposure to the sites. I know the gatekeepers with Zynga marketing, POF marketing, and Pandora (even though everyone complains, they still listen)
My thought is if I can partner with someone who has apps that are on the front page, etc. I can get the clients, etc. I can do just about anything to make this work. I just want this to be an equal partnership. We can get them a certain amount of downloads per day. If we are able to offer a free test of our abilities, I might be able to close the deals faster. I have a website that I was planning on using for a SEO referral service but then I thought about it even more.
Then once we have clients and the capital, we can start buying apps that have potential but need the marketing boost. Buy it for 500-2000 and then get it making more, etc. Then we can flip it for a higher price. There is also a higher market for this as well. Essentially we can build a very lucrative business model that will be successful & will build up.
Here is what I am suggesting:
We can set up a business here where we both have access, we can register a domain, etc. If you are willing to build a simple splash page or we can split the fees to get one done, to represent what we are offering and can get done.
We start out by offering those I have gotten in touch with that we will get there apps marketed, and to the front page of the app marketplace and they have to sign a physical copy of our contract that they have to pay our fees after they see their apps where they desire it to be. I know this may be a risk but if we are doing things the right way, we should have no problems.
I can draft up the contracts, then we get them to sign that once we are finished with their campaign. We will use their app as our proof. Then we will be able to start charging upfront or retainers.
Everything can be split equally.
If this seems of interest, I would like to chat with you to see if this is something that would be a mutual gain & fit. I would do this myself but I don?t have a lot of funds to play so I am hoping we can get together and pool our funds together. I know the exact business plan. How to implement it and how we can profit from this.
