Penguin - What works now?

My seo strategy consists of link diversity (11+ unique link types) + contextual backlinks + pad backlinks and its working great for me.

So far, my contextual backlinks doesn't have unique content but none of my sites got hit. I might look into unique content though just for an insurance.

Social signals are working really good for me here too. Managed to bring out some new websites to good positions. I would say social signals are vital for every SEO campaign you do.

Currently testing out profiles/EDU links and will report back if they help for me.

For facebook make a page about your website and get likes on it? or a different way?

Penguin gives importance to On page seo - False.
Social signals is important - True.

Those are the most important facts after penguin, the others were already on panda era.

One of my sites falled down after penguin to spot 120. i've changed a few of my web 2.0 anchor links. build some forum profiles directly to money site, bookmarks, blog comments.
used for my anchors only click here, emd.com and some other targeted keywords. i do this 2 weeks ago.

Today my Site went up from 120 to 28 for my main keyword. lets see the next days

I will like to admit and also chip in that social media presence is IMPORTANT at this time...
For example, if you use http://www.opensiteexplorer.org to analyze your back links you will see a section for facebook.
Be smart with it and you will be grateful.

I have around 30 Micro Niche Site, Almost all the sites went above 100 in rankings,

Now, I tested by only posted a article on my site and done a ezine submit, Immediately it jumped to the rank 10 for the KW, Here is my Serpbook rankings

1. Are you doing anything to get all those links indexed or just letting it go natural?
2. Bookmarks are to BOTH the web 2.0's and wiki's?
3. Blogs are just all AA's regardless of follow status or PR?

Where are you purchasing your facebook likes from? Fiverr or BHW?

I see in BHW there's are retweets and +1s, but I never see facebook likes.

I mostly work on niches with very little competition, what I have noticed is IP diversity seems to be a problem. All my sites with backlinks off 6 -7 web2's seem to be ok, but the ones I have hit with many different site / diverse links, all unique content, seem to have gone. I assume too many sites linking looks unnatural.

No offense but one site in one niche can hardly draw up a conclusion about penguin. Too many factors involved. Your results could be completely false and you wouldn't know it.

This is how shit spreads across the web. Thanks for providing your insight but people should also do their own testing because I have found different results myself.

@ryan - you can buy it from fiverr or from BHW. Some having BST and some Jr.vips selling thru signatures.

@Dan Da man - I mentioned, it was not final and just my observation. Me and every other members just posting , what strategies they are using and trying to find out which is working presently. As you said in your post, let us know about that too many factors.

I agree, it just shows how dumb a lot of newbs on this forum are giving thanks for one post which most probably is misinformation as it's simply one site.

I would also disagree about penguin not caring about any on page factors. My own tests have suggested otherwise however I won't say specifics until I am sure. We have enough bullshit on the web what with matt cunts , his blog, seomoz, wf etc without adding to the steaming piles of bullshit. Just a thought...
