I tried this a few weeks back when it just came out and thought it was crap. Turns out it's still just crap. You get the vibe that they hired some clone script php coders to slap this together.

I'm on it, and it is meant to be used by Students as a research tool. Would be good for relevant businesses, but it will not become a mainstay the way Facebook or Twitter is. I'm not bothered, but wouldn't mind finding a bot for this, just to get in on the action nice and early!

It seems like facebook has created a new "social network bubble" where anyone with an idea closely related to social network things in a few years their market cap will be 100bn too! I guess we will see where this goes.

All these social networks are just a load of shit if you ask me. Which you didn't, but I am going to share my half witted, un-thought out ideas anyway.

The concept behind all of them is exactly the same, the only thing they change is the look, its like a giant competition for rich people to see who can make the most professional looking website with some functionality.

The next big social network will be made by a nerd in their bedroom and it will have some technology that pushes Facebook and everyone else out of the game. I have a pretty good idea at what kind of technology is next but it is still 2-3 years away. Good luck with this shit, but seriously, social networking has gotten boring.
