Selling a 1 week old site

Like everyone else is saying, get some traffic sources or decent ways to monetize... then sell the site.

I've seen people on flippa sell mini-sites with zero traffic, and were days old for $500+. The thing is the products were new and original, not just affiliate reviews.

Stop thinking that just because you built a site, that it has value. This isn't a house that has any value outside of its own worth, you can't live in it, youcan't drive it, you can't eat it, its only purpose is to make money, and right now, it makes zero. Think about it like buying and selling a business. I have this great bake shop, we put a ton of money into making the cases nice, and the flooring all pretty, it even has a fancy bathroom! We make great cupcakes too! Awesome! How much money does it bring in? $0....but you want a million? See the problem here? Your site holds no value whatsoever....

At the moment I am focusing on CB reverse engineering to get sales of services but I have done flipping in the past and if done correctly then you can get some easy money out of it. I may start researching soon on some more flipping information on this topic but I think if you started a product to flip you would make a lot more than just flipping a brand new niche site.

Hi, I got a around 1 week old website that provides 3 different clickbank product reviews. I haven't done any seo but the site is all site up the only thing that is necessarily is to paste the buyers promotional link and get the traffic rolling. It's in the relationships niche.

What do you think such a site is worth?

Not much value there. But why do you want to sell it at this stage... unless you planned on something else and it didnt work out? wouldnt you rather build it up and sell higher? Even if you do want to sell it at this stage, take a good look at Flippa "just sold" section and look for other sites that have sold for <500 and grab some points from their sales copy - that should help a bit. These should slo give you some pointers on what "little more" you could do to add value to your existing site. Hope that helps.

The only way you can sell it as is for a decent amount is if you could "sell" people on the sites potential.. However it will be much easier to flip and much easier to make more money if you get traffic and are getting some sales...flip it when it's making more like $100 a month or something you'll learn how to make money from a site and you'll get more for it too...

THAT should get your PM inbox ahoppin', metalan!

Thank you for your tips, I realized that the worth would be increased ALLOT if I just put some work into it. I actually already have a blog with above 2k-3k per day with a income I regret that I made it a blog as it was my first attempt to make money on the internet.

Glad you decided to build it further - since you are done with almost 75%, the remaining should not be difficult. I hope you make it big!
