I got my account terminated because i was using pop up console with the amazon link.

Can i just create a new account with a new business name and email?

If approved can I replace all my existing links with the new affiliate ID?

Voice of Experience here: The following should be different when you reapply:

1) Name (or buziness name)
2) Mailing Address
3) 1st website

The 1st website means the website URL you give them when you apply and the website you will use for the 1st 2 weeks or so. After you get accepted and past the 1st 2 weeks, feel free to gradually roll in the other websites from the old account.

Just make sure you COMPLETELY remove all of your old affiliate code. You won't want any traffic coming from the old AA ID once you start using those sites with the new ID.

Amazon updated their ToS recently to exclude shortened links, and anyone who sends traffic through them (bit.ly etc) will not be paid.

This of course is based on your sales volume. If you have a few sales, they will not bother canceling your earnings. However if you are making thousands, they will definitely want to know more about you and your traffic. Once they see the referrer is bit.ly, you will lose your earnings.
Yes. it is against TOS. They will ban you. Maybe not if you make only $20 but if you keep on doing it... you will get banned.

Yes. They consider it cookie stuffing.
if you use a shortening service with amazon you will get banned from amazon FOR LIFE... YOU WON'T EVER NEVER MAKE ANY DIME WITH AMAZON FOR YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!!

BYE BYE MONEY FROM AMAZON!

thanks!

What if we use our own shortened links? Like the pretty links plugin which tracks affiliate links?

This is some easy-to-follow advice for fixing this problem and getting back up and running with a new Amazon Associates account. Gradually bringing in more accounts than the primary one will not raise any red flags with Amazon, with is definitely an important thing to keep in mind. One thing I would add is one of the most basic tenets of mistakes: Don't do it again. Getting rid of the pop-under ads will prevent the same hassle in the future. It will also keep the OP in good standing when it comes to following Amazon Associates' terms of service.

Wow.. I had my account closed, they claimed I was cookie stuffing, I wasn't. Asked them to check, because they were wrong. They replied I was and I was banned for life. And I was not cookie stuffing. Freaking idiots. Never mentioned anything besides cookie stuffing.

Be nice if they highlighted the stupid changes they made to their ToS. My bad for not reading it, but still, freaking stupid to ban for life for this.

Do you know how can I create amazon account using a VCC? Thanks

The sad truth is that this is happening more and more often. There usually is some, though it may be loose, valid reason based on the operating agreement which changes monthly. It's very hard to stay on top of. If you are making lots of money though the Associates program it's probably worth it to get a site audit to make sure you are not in violation. It could save a lot of money in the long run!
