Need Advice

Hi,

I run a online store (Magento 1.5) with 10k of products.

After making some SEO work our traffic is increasing but now we get almost every day a 500 Internal server error due Out of Memory
Our Server has 2GB of RAM on 40GB of free space

What can be the reason for memory problems? Traffic? do We need more RAM?
Anybody here with Magento experience

Magento requires a serious machine. If you're not running it on a dedicated platform with that many products, you need to move it to one.

The specifications you've listed are not even remotely adequate. Even if you can run the store, your page loads will be horrible.

You should use cache and contact your server administrator to figure out the problem

Disk space: 40 GB
Memory: 2048 MB

My server was going out of memory 10 times in the last 3 days
I use Cache, xCache, Foeman speedster is installed

Don't know what is the problem, it's really just to small amount of RAM?

Even if you get it to run on that VPS or another similar VPS, the next hurdle you'll have is improving it so that your page speed/load times aren't effecting your SERP position. If you want to run Magento and especially with that many products, do yourself a favor and get a dedicated server with plenty of resources.
