Niche websites getting rejected by adsense

I've just gotten a niche website rejected by Google adsense for[FONT=Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] [/FONT]insufficient content. The site has 5 articles, > 500 words each. Anyone else got the same problem? How to get around it, just add more articles? Not sure where the line is but if you really need 15-20 articles to get adsense, the profit of niche website doesn't justify the investment.

Or is it a sign that niche websites doesn't work anymore?​

It seems that making a niche site to earn with adsense now is a little harder than you imagine. It involves more than 5 articles. And for now after google release the penguin algorithm, you have to even work harder to rank your site, if you are planning to get most of your traffic from search engines. It may be easier to rank on long tail keywords, if there is only you who is providing that info on the internet.

In order to get an adsense account accepted you need to have a pretty nice site. They've also hated microniche sites as application sites.

If you're going to crank out sites like these, first build a nice site to submit. My first site was beautiful, had 40 articles, and looked legit.

After that I cranked out the junk sites lol.

They are cracking the whip, so if you submit a 5 pager with 500 word content they will know what you're up to.

Beef the site up with more articles, make it look pretty and resubmit it.

In fact I would focus on bigger sites and once you have a winner, build it big. The low quality sites are coming to and end my friend.

People are still making money with them, but these same people will be complaining once there entire income is wiped out in one day.


If you're going to build micro sites, build out clickbank sites.

I submitted a 2 page MNS to get my adsense account about 3 months ago (although it did have Contact page, Privacy page etc).

It is stupid to signup for "blackhat" adsense using your domain. I have never done that.

Apply for adsense account using hubpages or docstoc or another sites which allows you to signup for adsense. I guess you can find thread here how to do this exactly.

It is long time since i signed up for adsense but at that time I have added like 10/20 PLR articles on my docstoc account and i got approved adsense account in 10-15 hours.

Thanks for app the replies. I gotta bigger site (+50) articles which actually provides some useful info and tools for people, I'll use that one to apply instead. In general, it does sound like the whole MN way of making money is coming to an end.

How many daily UV does your niche site get?

+50 last few days, about one a day a week ago , it's really new. It does have some dynamic content that changes on 5 minute basis ( think stock/option prices but it's not that simple), so it's not a pure article MN site. It might even be useful for someone in that niche, since collects information from a few sources and does some calculations that I haven't really seen available anywhere else on the web.

Depends a bit on how you define autoblog I guess, it gives buy and sell signals on stocks,warrants and options depending upon price movements. So it's automatic, the dynamic content is a list of financial instruments whose price movements fullfil the criteria for going short or long that gets updated every 5 minutes. Great for day-trading junkies .

Adsense is being nuts nowadays. Just add little more content, 15-20 Articles, and you are good to go

long tail keywords are made out of keywords with more than a few words, like ranking top for "computer virus" is much harder than "get rid of computer virus xxx in Win7", you can read more about MNS here since there are quite a few well written threads for starters. Compared with "computer virus", there are way less for people searching for the long tail keyword, however this way it's easier to target your traffic and rank to the top than general terms.

anton91 said he just have 2 pages and got approved. It takes G more factor rather than merely counting the no. of articles you have to give you your adsense account. I first applied with 40+ articles and got rejected, then I applied it with a site with less articles and I got in. Make sure your site is completed. And I 've read that they will check your domain whois info too, if you're applying with a certain registered domain of yours.

I also guess that for certain countries it is easier to be accepted, for countries like india, china, G will be stricter, so if you are from those countries you really have to prepare your site and make sure it is completed, informative before you submit it to G.

Youre not the only one, lol.

Looked into this before and didnt seem very advantageous. Getting approved is easy, its not getting banned which is the issue.
