Does your whole site have to have 'on-page-optimization'?

Hey there. Basically, at the moment, i'm working on one of my pages with SEOpressor. It seems to be a huge help, and i'm sure it will get me highly ranked. However there is just one thing i'm wondering, and that is if i need to 'on-page-optimize' all of the pages on my website, or just the one i want optimized? I don't mind optimizing the whole site, but in order to save time, it would be great if i could just optimize one page...

You may want to look at other pages on your site just to make sure you don't get penalized for duplicate content, duplicate title tags, or other pages that might violate G's webmaster guidelines. IMHO, there is really no need to "optimize" them unless you are trying to rank that specific page. Many pages, like "Legal Disclaimers" or "Contact Us" are often deliberately set to no-follow just to avoid giving them SEO value.

On page optimization is less important than the quality of the content imo. Sure, it's good to have your title tags, headings, url structure, internal linking, etc. in place but I truly believe that using quality content with proper LDA and topic modeling, you'll be ahead of 99% of the sites out there.

I can get a kw ranked pretty easy to #1 provided its unique enough, which is what i want at any rate, and I have a PR 2+ blog to start off with. Check out my video for onsite with onpage wordpress seo in the whitehat forum.

Also you do not need to worry about trying to optimize the disclaimer, tos, privacy but I would not make those rel=nofollow unless you are specifying them in the sitemap. I also like to make a visual and a xml sitemap for WP which helps get content indexed very fast.

The reason to optimize more then just 1 page is simple, you want more people to link to you (think PR/authority here) and it should not take much longer then 10 mins once you have the content written out to do the proper meta/alts/h's/BIU/content length. I look for time on site, not just page. Its good to turn more then just your main page/s into a conversion point.

Just ensure that the main pages are top-notch, and that the other pages have at least decent on-page seo
Make sure that your not running a lot of duplicate content.

Also you should ensure that you have a simple internal linking structure, this is especially important if you have a very large site with hundreds maybe even thousands of pages of content.
