total beginner question (sorry for a little OFF, but I am interested in this soft and starting wiht Amazon Affilate in general): do I need an "affiliate-ready site" in order to sign to Amazon Affiliate? I tried to fill their form and they ask for my site and its details. Is this possible to just sign up and then choose products and prepare my own affiliate sites?

Using CustomAzon, you can create your very own customized categories! Say you have a Text Books site, but you ONLY want books created in 2012. Not a problem! Using your CustomAzon Admin panel, you just have to click "Books" on the category list, and enter in "2012" as the search string.

CustomAzon can also link to ANY AMAZON PRODUCT, AUTOMATICALLY!

To do this, it's as easy as finding the Amazon product's ASIN, or Product Number. Here's an example:

^This is a link to a product on Amazon. As you can see, after /dp/ , there is a string of characters that starts with a 'B'. This is your ASIN, specifically,B000PECU0O
Now that we have the ASIN, we can now view it on our website! To do this on our example site, we'd simply navigate to: http://www.GameKeg.com/details/B000PECU0O

It's THAT SIMPLE! Using that, you can literally link to any Amazon product, on YOUR OWN Website. Not only is it incredibly simple, it's also ON DEMAND! This means that your website doesn't waste valuable resources by "scraping" Amazon, just to store pricing data in a massive database that can change tomorrow! All of CustomAzon's product information is loaded On-The-Fly using Amazon's API, making ALL of your information from Description to Price, 100% Up to date and accurate.

I am not 100% sure on this subject. I know from my own personal experience, when having friends/associates create Amazon Associate accounts, they would always have their basic store designed before applying. Using that method, 100% of them were approved. I would personally contact their Associate's support and ask them to verify that you need a "live" website before getting approved.

As of right now, CustomAzon is not available as a stand-alone software. All scripts, images, etc, are hosted on our servers for your convenience. When a user signs up for CustomAzon's service, their account is created on our backend, and their site is fully populated within seconds! As soon as the user changes their Nameservers on their domain's Registrar, they can start using CustomAzon, 24/7!

In addition, if there are ever any patches, bug fixes, or required updates (say if Amazon updated their API), we would have no way to update your store. Looks like an awesome product but the only thing holding me back is not being able to host my own site. I just prefer to have it on my own host in case the site becomes profitable and I want to flip it later.

Please let me know if you guys ever decided to sell a stand alone script or theme with the same functionality.

1. CustomAzon is a fully automated, hands free, Amazon Clone. By clone, literally ANY product can be accessed on your site. Our software is 100% Custom, written from the ground up. I would imagine this depends on the traffic you drive to the site. I wouldn't expect to buy this and then have traffic magically appear to my site. I don't know how well you could rank a site like this using SEO and Google. I would probably try using Forums, Pinterest, FaceBook, Twitter, and YouTube.
