I've got an automation technique that involves proxies. I've been using it for years with public High-Anon proxies. It's not, in any way, SEO related. I don't, in any way, send email via these proxies. They are used very lightly, but they're necessary.
Well, the public proxies get abused by others so quickly that I've been contemplating using private proxies (HTTP or SOCKS ... both work). The thing is, I need a large number of them, but I don't use any one of them very much (theoretically once a day, given a large enough number of them). Because of the number needing, buying private ones for my own use would be expensive, especially given the light use I would give them.
So I suppose my question is this: Is it unreasonable to ask someone who buys private proxies for the use of them for a fee that would be lower than the rate of just buying them anywhere? It seems they'd see no interruption in the proxies' ability to perform their normal tasks in SEO automation, and anyone mailing from SOCKS proxies wouldn't see a diminished lifespan from them, since they aren't being used to mail, or even in connection with an ISP.
If it's unreasonable, may I know why? Proxies are a relatively new subject for me. If it's not unreasonable, where might I go to find people who would be interested, and what should I expect to pay?
