I personally use my own custom bot but there are few software available in the market for Wiki submission Like Extreme wiki poster

Yes wikis are useful for diversifying your keywords and anchor text..They might not give you quick serp jump but after latest penguin update people use wiki for diversifying their keywords and inner pages
