Someone jacked my BHW login!

Hey guys, I am a noobie member here and I fully understand the ramifications of posting stupid threads asking for money. I only have 1 thread under my belt so imagine my surprise when I did a search on myself, and found this thread too!

I didn't post this thread and would never post something so retarded here. I have changed my password and will be monitoring my account a little closer now.

To whomever jacked my login and password: You're an asshat... leave us noobs alone so we can learn and hopefully contribute to this forum without having to defend retarded actions that aren't even our fault...

The mods I am sure can check the IP that posted that message vs the IP you normally use.

I would be happy to cooperate, though I don't know the exact ip's I had at that time, I do know where I was when that post was created. There's only two IP's that I logged in from, (work and home). This kind of crap pisses me off, especially when I am trying to be careful of what I post so that I don't get flamed outta here, or banned. Maybe I am over-reacting, but it just sucks...

If someone got into your account I wouldn't be worried about what they posted I'd be wondering what else they're up to. Make sure you change all your passwords for everything you have.. Don't use the same password twice if you can help it.

Nah, man. Just turn it around and use the " ! " link on the posting party's Post...it's a complaint button. They have violated TOS of this forum by putting you in harms way through simple harassment via a personal attack. Dave will ban them.

A similar case happened months back right? Weird.
Change your information/pass for any other account with that username you may have online.

there is a firefox addon called "keyscrambler" it stops all keyloggers from recording logins/passwords.

Pofecker just deleted that thread. I'm still trying to figure out how someone snagged my info, no one had access to my 'puter. I will be keeping close watch on all my accounts from now on. Thanks for all your help guys.
