Go daddy tried to scam me. I bought a domain last year (it turns out I could not use that name,because of similar name to it-trademark name). They sent me emails saying I need to renew it. They charge my account 8 dollars (I know it is nothing, it prinicipal). I talk to a guy he said "I take care of that for you", then a day later I recieve refund denied email. I called my credit card company and they got me and the rep from godaddy on phone. The rep did even want to talk he just credited my account.

Lesson: use your credit card for online purchases.

Yes I still be using godaddy.

another lesson is to check your account balance from godaddy. If I didnt do that, I would be out 8 dollars which is 80 pesos

or you could just disable automatic renewal for product you dont want to renew!!

Can you state absolutely that you did not have the domain on automatic renewal? If you cannot, then you shouldn't claim that they tried to scam you. The were simply carrying out the instructions you had for the account.

They sent me emails after emails trying to get me renew, but I did not have a automatic renewal. I got every email from them. As soon as I got my credit card company on there, they gave me my money back.

I am still going to use them by the way.

They know whasssup. lol. If they want make it better they can give me godaddy girl, for maybe one night. lol

ps: i got another email from them saying they were in wrong. They did not know how it happen. It was a freak accident.
