Client didnt pay - your suggestions???

Thank you for suggestions and all but take a hike, cuz the thread said suggestions and not life lessons or mistakes made. You dont like the thread dont post here, should be simple enough. Nothing personal )

I would start a couple blogger blogs and WP sites and post the company name address and the person you dealt with .. So any other company who searches this guy may save themselves from getting ripped off as well.

you can make fake bad review about their services on blog sites or forum. You just have to make a spinable article and post it with a software. Or blasting the website with the same url is working, but may be try it the "white way" first.

I would recommend a gay-porn Xrumer blast, gambling included.

I like your thread just fine. I, therefore, posted in it.

It is clear to anyone with half a mind that you want to hear certain things -- immediate remedies to your failure to foresee human nature. The problem (for you) with this is that those who have responded to you in a similar manner to that which I have, are 4 to 5 steps ahead of you: You are not going to get your money. Do you understand...?

What might one conclude from this?

Well, of course, how to adjust the approach to your own Terms of Service.

Clowns are clowns anyway one slices it. You don't always have to be a clown; but, the fact of the matter is that you started this thread wanting to hear very specific things that can all be boiled-down to this: "Hey fellow losers of recent profits, I want to Neg SEO this asshole off of planet Internet - is that okay?"

Accordingly, you will (and have) place(d) higher value on that which you want to hear.

So, the question is of course begged: What's the point?

You either want to improve and make yourself stronger against those that are going to try and steal from you, or you do not.

Again: You are exceedingly unlikely to get the money that is owed to you....

..what then, baller?

DO NOT listen to any of these other posts except the guy that gave the idea for prepaid legal.

FIRST- Go to county courthouse
SECOND- File a hot check report. You will have to submit returned or receipted certified demand for payment letters. A cancelled check you have provided services for is "theft by check", usually a high misdeminor or low felony depending on state and dollar amount.
LAST- Once he is arrested and arraigned you can win your judgement and send that to a collections agent, if he is still unwilling to pay.

DO NOT ATTACK HIM, REMOVE SERVICE, NONE OF THAT!

Dude chill, i get your point!!! Im sure you are a great blackhatter with amazing successful IM projects. Just stop bragging about stuff that I want or dont want to hear. It just doesnt do any good to you or myself.

I like jolly's answer. But on top of that, go to review sites. Review sites are not just for customers. It reviews the company as a whole. Let other professionals know.
on top of that, find its biggest competition and offer your service for half off for 3 months with a 6 month contract. They will be assured you will worker harder for them!

Tell him you're offering a free service - free xrumer blasts everyday. :p

Stupid iPhone. Sorry

I like jollymonsa's suggestion. Call him first and tell him this is what you are going to do unless he pays. I don't think the man would risk an arrest for such a small amount.

Kinda did have it upfront. We received cheques but the date to take money out was the end of the month. By the time we tried to put it down the cheque was canceled and had no value

this is a BIG red flag here...

when an individual post dates a check up to a month, this means he doesn't have any money in his account to cover the check...if someone is going to give you a check, make sure it has the same date as you received it, or one or two days out, then deposit the check and wait to start the work until it clears...

live and learn...

From my own experience this is what I would suggest, you gotta move on and look for new clients and always remember to take atleast 50% upfront cash. Any client who says no for upfront then ignore them and look for other clients.

Genuine buyer doesn't have any sorts of problem with upfronts.

Unfortunately, it seems the dollar amount is very small and this would probably be more work than its worth, I could be wrong as I have never done what your outlining here, but its tough to get money back when its not a high dollar amount...

I agree, people with money have no problem paying and people who don't, well.....
