May I ask a silly question?

Why is it that you only offer the .008 per word price for 500 word articles? I prefer to put slightly longer articles on my sites (600 words) but I'm trying to figure out why that's higher per word than your 500 word articles... In fact, all articles above and below 500 words is higher than .008 per word... I just find that strange.
