Hey guys, I'm looking to develop a tool for use by BHW members, but I'm having difficulty thinking of something that people may actually use. Call it programmer's block. These threads pop up every now and again, but here it is: why type of tools does BHW need? And at what price (free is an option, but don't expect Scrapebox-level functionality for free)?

Oh, and to sweeten the deal: whoever suggests the idea that I go with, will get a free copy of the software (or a free month of service if it pans out that way). Ready... Set... Go!

I would really like a LSI keyword tool for siloing sites

I'd like to enter a broad "root" keyword and get list of silo heading keyword phrases followed by supporting keyword phrases per silo:

level 1 root keyword

silo keyword phrase #1
keyword 1
keyword 2
etc.

silo keyword phrase #2
keyword 1
keyword 2

etc. etc.


ubersuggest .org is best free tool but no filtering - would like results based on strength of competition, exact match monthly search volume, etc.

paid versions exist - nichebot and themezoom - but would like FREE!

we can never have enough youtube bots. create one that can create accounts, assign proxies to each account, multithreaded and can increase views with rotating accounts and a scheduler, rate comments, post comments etc. and if it's good, you can even sell it to make some dough. but gimme a free copy

Your confusion is stemming from the assumption that asking for ideas means I plan to immediately implement them. I like to stay busy, and I figure that 2 bots on my plate once I get a computer should keep me busy for a few weeks.

The reason only paid versions exist is because it is pretty difficult to scrape the AdWords Keyword Tool (because it's captcha protected and too many queries too quick gets your IP blocked; thus, the only place to get stuff like keyword search volume is to use services like WordTracker or WordStream, both of whom charge for access to their API and for each call you make to their database. Obviously one could make a tool to scrape GKT but with required Multithreading, proxy support and captcha support, I wouldn't expect it to be free.

Themezoom full service was $1,000 a month last time I checked - about 2 years ago

Nichebot just uses other peoples services and charges for them - so I won't pay on principal

Not found any other service that can do what I want - currently using google "related" and ubersuggest and building the lists manually

Anyway, all my clients went bust or went into hiding following 2008 crash and I'm heavily in debt and waiting for economy to recover

Also problem of google constantly changing the way their data is accessed - Micro Niche Finder goes down about every 2 weeks following some google change or other

Maybe you could scrape ubersuggest and process the results

There will always be a demand for keyword tools

I'm leaning towards what I used to do years ago - really big sites with a page for every known keyword, and ignoring search volume, strength of competition, etc. - just build a big "catch all" site

Well I am planning a keyword tool, that tells you all potential keywords for your site and sorts them by search volume. I guess I'll just roll with that for now. New Question: requested functionality for said tool?

Hmm a tool to reduce ALEXA rank with built in proxys, built in proxy list updates, with changeable referrer would be nice....

There is a good few ones out already but they dont work.

Micro Niche Finder has a keyword value indicator i.e. click value x search volume - this is likely to be of benefit for adsense publishers

My interest is mainly in getting an automated LSI site structure i.e. main keyword, silo keywords, supporting keywords for each silo (preferably filtered by search volume or keyword $ value)
